The FairTax bill was introduced in the Senate on January 13, 2015. On January 20th, less than a week later, Senator Jerry Moran (KS) discussed the FairTax on the floor of the US Senate!
Tax reform has been discussed for decades. Senator Moran examined all of the different tax reform proposals and found the FairTax to be the best solution to the problems and unfairness inherent in the current tax code.
Senator Moran stated that he joined Georgia’s Senator Perdue in introducing the FairTax bill in the Senate this year. He believes that the FairTax will restore individual freedom and enable people to live the American Dream!
